Legalization

To be valid in Bulgaria a document issued by a foreign country and vice versa, a Bulgaria document to be valid in another country, it has to be translated and legalized. The translation needs to be done by a translation agency having a signed contract with the Ministry of foreign affairs about making official translations.
In Bulgaria the document legalisation is made by the Ministry of foreign affairs and by the Ministry of Justice of Bulgaria. The Ministry of foreign affairs and the Ministry of Justice legalize the Bulgarian public acts with a special certification “apostille” and abroad – by the diplomatic and consular representation of The Republic of Bulgaria.
Moreover, to be legalized a document it is necessary to have the required stamps and attestation according to the Bulgarian legislation and bilateral agreements, where the Republic of Bulgaria is a part.

1. We translate Your document on our form, as authorized agency by the Ministry of foreign affairs, put a stamp and signature of a dedicated translator.
2. We certify the original document in the respective ministry, whose stamps are required by the consular department of the ministry of foreign affairs.
3. The translation, together with the certified document are certified in the consular department of the ministry of foreign affairs.
After the certification of the consular department the document is eligible to be presented to the authorities in the respective country.

The defined terms do not include:
> the time for the actual translation;

According to the requirements of the Minestry of Education, Youth and science, The ministry of internal affairs, Sofia Internal Affairs Directorate and The Prosecutor’s office , for us to be able to submit documents on Your behalf, the client should give us an explicit lpower of attorney certified by a notary. The fees for stamping are defined in the legislation and are paid separately.
